sometimes this kind of rant is just the right thing… (from a couple years ago) 演唱會 「整個晚上都在聽我唱母語，會不會很辛苦？」 那天晚上金曲獎得獎者，’Amis歌手Suming Rupi 在他第二專輯的發片會那樣開玩笑說，他的歌迷，拉鐵粉，也應該知道Suming會如何繼續 「如果真的不習慣你們，也可以把我的歌當作法文，不是跟法文很像嗎？」 Suming提起在台灣主流社會受一般人重視，很高貴的語言，使他的笑話帶有些許諷刺以及傷感；因為台灣的媒體市場不太能接受原住民族的族語創作，何況說巨大的中國市場，所以Suming的唱片公司一直勸他寫所謂國語專輯才能保證會賺錢。不過Suming不管現有市場的考慮；寫阿美族語歌詞已經成為他堅持的方向。反正，他的聽眾總是可以假裝是法文（或者韓文）
